Excellent product. Obviously a perfect match for the Lifeproof LVP product from Home Depot. Since adhesive is needed for installation, for the price, perhaps plank padding prep could be done at the factory?

We of course picked a flooring color that didn’t have any great options for floor treads through the big box stores. We searched for the best solution online while also keeping in mind we are installing these ourselves and need it to be easy. We found this site and the reviews were great so we gave it a shot! The pieces match exactly to our flooring and they are easy to install. Unfortunately in our older house our stairs aren’t perfectly square so there was some trial and error with the best way to measure and cut, but we figured it out. The tread covers about 6” of the step and then we cut another piece of regular flooring to attach on the back. We used heavy duty construction glue to hold everything down. Our risers and stringers are white so what I did was caulk the spaces between where the tread hits the risers and stringers to create a seamless look and seal everything in.
